I can change."

How I work

Being an integrative counsellor means that my training is in a variety of theories and approaches which I can draw upon in our work together.I can work both short-term and long-term, so that we can work work on a session by session basis, so you can be in control of the right timeframe of counselling for you.My current training is primarily in person-centred therapy, psychodynamic therapy, Gestalt, and IFS.Person centred counselling puts you in charge of the counselling process, whilst an awareness of psychodynamic theory allows us to understand the core of what you're facing and where it began. Gestalt works in the here and now, focusing on developing self-awareness and an authentic connection between client and counsellor. Lastly, IFS allows us to work with 'parts' of self, if this is something that resonates for you.I’m also passionate about neuroscience, as this allows us to work with an awareness of how we respond to everything from our own thoughts and sensations to traumatic experiences.

LGBTQIA+ & Neurodivergent Counselling

As a queer, trans and neurodivergent counsellor, I work in a way that affirms your identity, offering complete acceptance, whether you are just exploring questions around these experiences, or have been established in your identity for a long time. I feel passionate about the importance of providing a counselling space where queer and neurodivergent people don't feel that they have to explain themselves or their identity.
